Alice Muffoletto Obituary

Funeral services will be conducted for Alice B. Beslin Muffoletto, 88, on Monday, January 2, 2016, at 2:00 PM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with Father Randall Moreaux officiating. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday, January 2, 2017, from 10:00 AM until the service time and a rosary will be prayed in the funeral home at 11:00 AM. Mrs. Muffoletto was born in New Iberia, was a longtime resident of Jeanerette and was currently living at Landmark of Acadiana in Cade. She passed away on Saturday, December 31, 2016, at 12:23 PM at Iberia Medical Center. She retired as a Cashier at Robie's Grocery Store in Jeanerette. She loved cooking and serving everyone, making sure they thoroughly enjoyed her cooking, also enjoyed dancing, music and occasional sounds of the slot machines. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, which was the ultimate joy for her and loved each and every one of them. She is survived by her son, Mark F. Beslin and his wife Kerry of Jeanerette; her daughter-in-law, Holly F. Beslin of New Iberia; her grandchildren, Stuart M. Beslin and his wife Elizabeth of Jeanerette, Seth M. Beslin and his wife Abby of Broussard, Rachel Beslin of Arnaudville, Jennifer Beslin and her husband Travis McMath of Broussard and Chad Falterman and his wife Kasie of Youngsville. Her great grandchildren are Lane Myers, Madelyn Beslin, Cullen Beslin, Rowen Beslin, Kylie Hatfield, Hunter Matthew Beslin who will arrive in May, Gavin LeMaire, Alexia LeMaire, Carter Suire, Miller McMath, Marie Kate McMath, Masen Falterman; her step-son, Walter Paul Muffoletto and his wife Libby of Corpus Christi, TX; her step-daughters, Carmel Louviere and her husband Johnny of New Iberia and Mary Ellen Muffoletto of Baton Rouge. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Muffoletto; her first husband, Henry Francis ""H. F."" Beslin; her parents, Jules Boudreaux and Eva Hebert Boudreaux; her son, Todd P. Beslin; her brothers, Milton, Alton, Murphy and Vernis Boudreaux and her sisters, Lillian Boudreaux and Vivian Theriot. Pallbearers will be Stuart Beslin, Seth Beslin, Travis McMath, Shep Comeaux, Sammy Louviere and Chad Falterman. Honorary pallbearers will be David Falterman, Eddie Louviere, Johnny Louviere, Walter Paul Muffoletto and Raymond Boudreaux. The family would like to thank Dr. James Falterman, Jr. and his staff assistants, Nicole and Lenese, Dr. Tim Allain Viator, the Staff at Landmark of Acadiana in Cade for their devotion and care provided for Alice.
