Idouma Ditch Harrington

Funeral Services for Mrs. Idouma Ditch Harrington, 73, will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, March 4, 2016, at David Funeral Chapel of Erath with Deacon Tim Marcantel officiating. Interment will follow at LeBlanc Cemetery. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Erath on Friday, March 4, 2016, from 8:30 AM until the time of services with a recitation of the rosary at 11:00 AM. A native of Abbeville and a resident of Erath, Mrs. Harrington died at 12:10 PM on Wednesday, March 2, 2016, at Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center. She worked in the business office at Abbeville General Hospital for over 40 Years. She was a devoted Catholic and known for her enjoyment of crocheting, music and dancing. She is survived by two sons, Brandon Harrington and his wife Stephanie of Erath and James "Jimi" Harrington and his wife Roxanne of Meaux; a daughter, Patricia H. Walsh and her husband John of Erath; a sister in law, Maud Ray Ditch; ten grandchildren; seven step grandchildren; five great grandchildren; four step great grandchildren; four great grandchildren and one step great grandchild on the way. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Julius Harrington; her parents, Oleus and Eumea Bourque Ditch; four brothers, Kenneth Ditch, Sherman Ditch, Norman Ditch, and Edison Ditch; five sisters, Thelma Broussard, Ada Bertrand, Opal Bouillion, Gertrude Ditch, and Cora Broussard; a daughter in law, Loretta Harrington. Serving as pallbearers will be Damon Harrington, Trent Harrington, Brandal Harrington, Christopher Blaze Harrington, Kain Harrington, and Corey Harrington.
