Jacques Judice Obituary

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 29, 2021 at St Jules Catholic Church in Lafayette, LA for Jacques Louis Judice, 21, who passed away on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at home. Father Dan Edwards will officiate the funeral ceremony. Lectors will be Michelle Guidry and Darren Guidry. Denise Melancon will be the organist and soloist. The family requests that visitation be held on Thursday, April 29, 2021 at St. Jules from 9:00 a.m. until the rosary. A rosary will be prayed at 12:20 p.m. Jacques was a handsome, talented man with the most loving, tender heart. When you were hurting Jacques was hurting and offering encouragement. Jacques was an accomplished athlete and he was quickly becoming a skilled carpenter and contractor. But Jacques was best at loving everyone around him, deeply and unapologetically. He made friends easily and loved them well. Jacques' love for his coaches and teammates transcended his love for the game which was huge. He especially loved his many cousins, aunts, uncles, nephews and nieces. He loved pets, especially his dog, Winston, and he had a special love for his Nanny Michelle. Jacques was deeply loved by his family. He would tell anyone who would listen about them. Jacques showed his love openly with hugs, kisses and saying he loved you as he left; it was normal for him. He had amazing hugs and kisses even though he may have just kissed Winston on the lips. "We are thankful for the wonderful years we were blessed to have with Jacques in our lives. We have come to realize in Jacques passing that God's love was amplified through him. He has left a trail of evidence that he loved those around him unconditionally. When you remember Jacques, let that encourage you to love God more intimately, your loved ones, your friends, your family and strangers you meet more deeply. Be bold in your love!" - The Judice Family. Jacques is survived by his parents, Roch and Jill Judice; three sisters, Jayne Judice Mayer and husband Dustin Mayer, Jolie and Jillian Judice; five brothers, Jordan, Jeremy, Jonah and wife Airren, Joshua and Jace Judice; his niece Amelia Mayer and nephews Benjamin Mayer and Josiah Judice; his paternal grandfather, Ronald Judice and his wife Yvette; and his maternal grandmother Mona Davies and Grandpa Henry. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Hilda Judice; and his maternal grandfather, Ludren "Smiley" Guidry; and his dear cousins Jordan Matthew and JeanPaul Judice. My heart is so heavy from this news. Jacques had such a tender heart and gentle spirit. His family and friends are in my prayers and I know he is with Jesus right now free from the chains of this world. He’ll be sorely missed by anyone who had the opportunity to know him.
