James Hubert Breaux

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2022 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at Gossen Funeral Home in Rayne, Louisiana, for James Hubert Breaux, 86, who died Tuesday, May 17, 2022. Mr. Breaux enjoyed spending time with his family and was a master horseman, hunter and fisherman. He was a founding member of Broussard, Poche, Louis & Breaux, Certified Public Accounting Firm in Crowley and Lafayette, LA, where he worked until his retirement. Survivors include his two daughters, Evelyn Breaux and Suzanne Breaux, sister, Sara Breaux Arceneaux and spouse Richard Arceneaux, companion, Arlene Tyner, five grandchildren, Candace Hanson and spouse Jared Hanson, Lauren Malespin and spouse Marc Malespin, Logan Royer, Megan Hirschler, Mallory Hirschler, two great grandchildren, Vivian Hanson and Maddox Malespin, two nieces, Josette Hoffpauir Baker, Michelle Begnaud, two nephews, Paul Plattsmier, Scott Sonnier. He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Breaux, mother, Sarah Colligan Breaux, daughter, Marie Breaux Hirschler, brother, Robert Breaux, sister, Mary Patricia Hoffpauir, nephew, Michael Hoffpauir.
