Leonard C. Hoffpauir

Funeral services will be held Thursday, Sept. 23, 2021, at 2 p.m. at Ebenezer United Methodist Church for Leonard C. Hoffpauir, 82, who died Monday, Sept. 20, 2021, at 3:50 p.m. at Louisiana Extended Care Hospital in Lafayette. He was a volunteer with the Acadia Parish Sheriff's Department posse and loved his Ebenezer community and Ebenezer United Methodist Church family. He was a loyal friend to many and will be greatly missed. Rev. Wayne Mitchell will officiate for the services. The family requests visiting hours Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to service time at Ebenezer United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the Ebenezer Cemetery. Leonard is survived by two daughters, Deborah H. Vulcano and her husband David of Brentwood, TN, Vicki H. Van Horne and her husband Chris of Alexandria, VA; one sister, Dorothy Mitchell of Nashville, GA; two brothers, Guary Hoffpauir of Loreauville, Cecil Hoffpauir of Iota; proud Pa-Pa to five grandchildren, Tori Van Horne Motter and her husband Taylor, Dominic Vulcano, Kelsey Van Horne, Camille Vulcano, and Ashley Van Horne; and two great-grandchildren, Landon and Riley Motter. He was preceded in death by his parents, George Elbert and Celie Pearl Spell Hoffpauir and one sister, Celie H. Lejeune.
