Michael Moore

A Celebration of life for Michael Moore, 57 will be held at David Funeral Home of Lafayette, on Friday, July 2, 2021, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m, with Memorial Service at 1 p.m. A native of New Orleans, former resident of Lafayette, and resident of Paulden, AZ, Mr. Moore died on Friday, June 25, 2021, in Chino Valley, AZ. Mr. Moore was a retired member of the Lafayette Police Dept., he was a SWAT Operator, and worked in the Patrol, Robbery and Homicide Divisions as an investigator. After retiring in 2012, he moved to Paulden, AZ and was employed by Gunsite Academy as an firearms instructor. He also owned and operated Tacdrivers, the onsite gunsmith shop. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Bea Moore, his loving service dog, Ranger, 3 stepchildren, Christie Poole (John), Jeremy Comeaux, Kacie Comeaux, 8 grandchildren, his parents, Jim and Mary Jean Moore, his sisters, Brigette Aldridge (Mike), and Jeanne Lea (Ben), his brother, James "Jimmy" Moore (Yvonne), and his mother-in-law, Dot Driggers. Mr. Moore was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Milton and Florilda Moore, and his Maternal grandparents, Emile and Eugenie Krafft and his father-in-law Howard Driggers.
