Billy John Williams

Billy John Williams, age 83, of Manila, passed from this life, Monday, September 29, 2025, at his home. Son of the late Johnny and Lorine Forrest Williams, he was born in Helena, raised in West Ridge, and was a graduate of Missco High School. He worked as a supervisor for Viskase for 27 years and was a member of Westside Baptist Church in Osceola. Billy was an assistant scout master and enjoyed bass fishing and deer hunting. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, JoAnn Williams. Survivors include: His wife of 61 years, Dorothy Williams, of the home 2 sons, John Scott Williams of Manila, and Stephen Wayne Williams (Kimberly Ann) of Watts, Oklahoma 4 brothers, Jerald Williams of Millsap, Texas, Jim Williams of Hot Springs, Ray Williams of Dyess, and Larry Williams of Lepanto 3 sisters, Judy Kemp (Terry) of Heber Springs, Margaret McCullar (Mike) of Lepanto, and Annette Campbell of Lepanto 6 grandchildren, Sierra Jade Burns (Joe) of Manila, John Frank Williams, Emily Haack (Steven) of St. Cloud, Minnesota, Madison Faith Williams, Josiah Kirk Williams, and Skylar McGrew 4 great-grandchildren, Colton Burns, Amelia Burns, Dom Haack, and Gus Haack Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila with Reverend Mark Wheeler officiating. Burial with Military Honors will follow in the Manila Cemetery. Honored to serve as pallbearers are Joe Burns, Colton Burns, Josiah Williams, and Brett Sexton.
