Raymond Charles Weaver, 77, of Byhalia, Mississippi passed away Friday, October 31, 2025. Friends are invited to a visitation with the family to celebrate Charlie's life on Thursday, November 6, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Coleman Funeral Home of Olive Branch. Military honors will be performed at the end of the visitation. The family would like friends and family to come dressed in jeans or overalls in honor of Charlie. Be prepared to share your favorite story and have a few laughs with all who loved him. The burial will be held at a later date at West Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery.
Charlie was born on February 2, 1948, in Alderson, Oklahoma. He honorably served in the United States Navy for 14 and a half years and achieved the rank of Chief Petty Officer. After his military service, Charlie worked as a Diesel Mechanic/Service Manager with Ryder Truck Rental beginning in 1979, where he remained until 1994, then continued his career with MHC Truck Leasing and retired in 2010. He was a member of Central Church in Collierville, Tennessee. Charlie loved fishing and camping with his friends and enjoyed making his own lures and fishing jigs. He began as a bass fisherman and later discovered his love for crappie fishing, eventually becoming an active member of Crappie.com. In his younger years, he enjoyed riding Harley-Davidson motorcycles. He also liked watching sports and was an avid NASCAR fan throughout his life. Charlie was deeply loved by his family and friends and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Charlie was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Wilbert Weaver and Bernice Penola Weaver; son, Noah Weaver; sister, Myra Kay Watson; brother, Ralph Wayne Weaver; and nephew, Ralph Wayne Weaver, Jr.
Charlie is survived by his wife, Becky Weaver of Byhalia; daughter, Kristin Pumphrey (TJ) of Olive Branch, Mississippi; granddaughters, Erica and Payton Pumphrey of Olive Branch and soon-to-be grandson, Noah Pumphrey.

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (www.stjude.com) and the
American Cancer Society (www.cancer.org).
In honor of Charlie's service to our country, the flag of the United States Navy will be flown the day of the service.
