I played defensive end with Tony at Northern State University for 1 year. Tony was individual I would describe as genuine and true. He was one of the softest spoken, kindest people I've ever known. From the day I met him, I knew he was a good person who could be deeply trusted. Although I didn't spend a tremendous amount of time with him, he made a lasting impression on me. For some reason his name popped in my head yesterday, and I just want to let it be know that I found him a great individual. I pray for his soul.

My beautiful son, you will forever be in my heart. You were the best son a mom could ask for. I shall miss you dearly and know one day we will be together again.
I shall always look at the moon as it were you watching over us my dear son.
Til we meet again know you will always be in my thoughts and heart, love Mom

It must be so hard to lose someone so dearly loved. My heart goes out to family and friends. Please remember to throw your burdens on God and he will sustain you ( Psalms 55 : 22 ).

I did not know him well, though if a man may be measured by those he is loved by, then Tony was truly a great man who will be forever remembered as so.

You always made me feel like I had a kindred soul and wasn't such a strange person. A piece of my heart is gone with you. I love you infinitely, cousin. I should've told you how blessed I was to know you and call you family... I'll be seeing you.

I loved Tony's gentle spirit. Close your eyes. See his beautiful smile and thoughtful eyes, hear his soft tone of voice, sense his eagerness to commune with life and nature. Feel his presence as when he was with us. I think he had an old soul. He just touched me that way - the little I knew him. But you knew he was love. For those who believe - we look forward to embracing him again as if no time has passed. In that hope, my friends, we may find a little peace.

a diamond in the rough is the best way i can describe tony. he had exceptional and rare qualities that inspired and enlightened others. he was athletic attractive and brilliant but also very humble. he saw beauty in all of nature that many people overlook. he was very thoughtful, romantic and loving with strong values that he prided himself on with hard work and family being placed above all. he was my best friend, boyfriend, and companion. i'm so sorry i had to say goodbye and he was taken from this world so prematurely. i will always hold on to the magical memories we shared. i'm so grateful to have experienced the time i did with him and as i grieve it gives me comfort to know that the love we shared for one another is timeless and he will always be with me in spirit. i love you tony
