A couple of warm memories:
-- Cindy's charm and style included a simple co-ordination of the color/s of her socks with the color/s of her shirt.
-- She shared her trick for making good drip coffee: press the grounds down before the hot water passes over and through them. I'm particularly grateful for this tip just about every day!

I have seen Cindy at Northwood from the year she started there, to now, thanks to having 6 kids go through. I did not personally get to know her until recently when a friend of mine worked with her. I loved showing her funny "bad" cards I would give my friends mom. Her laughter went from her smile, to her voice, to her eyes, then, her face would seem to glow. I even started getting cards just to show her. I will miss her sternness, to her laughter and her smile. Northwood... No Anchorage will not be the same. She will be missed.

Cindy will be greatly missed and she was always a ray of sunshine. I worked with Cindy at ESY and would see her on weekends at the Gift shop. I worked with her for 7 years at ESY we would always walk and have lunch together. One summer at Baxter Cindy and I got chased by a moose on our walk talk about scary but of course we laughed afterwards. I am very sad to lose such a wonderful friend and coworker. My heart goes out to her family. Blessings Vicki Street
