Daniel McCreadie Obituary

Alaska resident Mr. Daniel David McCreadie, 31, went to live with his heavenly Father on Sept. 12, 2017, in Anchorage, Alaska.
A celebration of life will be held for Daniel at noon on Friday, Sept. 22, 2017, at 3205 Spenard Road in Anchorage.
Daniel was born on Nov. 18, 1985, in Dade City, Fla., to Richard and Kay McCreadie. He spent most of his life in the Lower 48 until 1991, when he and his family moved north to Alaska.
Once here, Daniel graduated from West High School, then went to the Tulsa School of Welding in Oklahoma, were he graduated top of his class. After completing his welding certifications, he returned to Alaska, and started working with DMC Welding, and then McCreadie & Sons Welding & Mechanical Repair.
Dan enjoyed working on metal art and welding in is free time, but nothing was more important to him than his daughter, whom he loved unconditionally.
His family has said that Daniel was, "a very dedicated father, a loving son and loyal brother with an unwavering love of God."
Daniel is preceded in death by Wilson McCreadie, Jeanette Johnson and Nancy Graves.
He is survived by his father, Richard McCreadie of Sterling, Alaska; mother, Kay McCreadie-Worley of Green Cove Springs, Fla.; brother, Morgan McCreadie of Anchorage; and daughters, Renea, Brooke and Savannah McCreadie of Anchorage.
The family will be holding a private ceremony in Cape Yakataga, Alaska, where they will scatter his ashes.
