F. Wright Obituary

Dr. F. Ben Wright III, 59, of Louisville, died Saturday, December 7, 2002 at Jefferson Place. Dr. Wright was born December 14, 1942, in Corbin, KY and was reared in Hopkinsville. He attended Western Kentucky University, was a graduate of the University of Louisville School of Dentistry and was a graduate of the University of Illinois Graduate Program in Orthodontics. Dr. Wright was an orthodontist in Louisville until he retired in 2001. Dr. Wright was a member of the American Dental Association, Kentucky Dental Association, Louisville Dental Society, American Association of Orthodontists, Southern Association of Orthodontists, and Kentucky Orthodontists Association. In addition, Dr. Wright was a registered home builder and a member of the National Association of Home Builders, Home Builders Association of Louisville, Home Builders Association of Kentucky, and a longtime member of Hurstbourne Christian Church. He is survived by his wife, the former Judith Ann Skaggs; a son, Ford B. Wright IV; a daughter, Sarah Hope Wright; and a dear aunt and uncle, Anna and Jack Hollin, who lovingly helped care for him. A memorial service will be held 2 pm Saturday, December 14, at Hurstbourne Christian Church, 601 Nottingham Parkway, with a private burial at a later date. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until time of service at church, with a reception to follow. Memorial gifts may be made with loving appreciation to Hurstbourne Christian Church or Hospice of Louisville. Arrangements by Pearson’s.
