Giuseppe Misciagna Obituary
Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife, Dora (Marinelli) Misciagna; four sons, Mike & wife Enza, Raffaele & wife Fausta, Mario & fiancé Shelley Zinzer, and Riccardo & wife Mary; several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
The family will receive friends on Sunday (December 18, 2016) from 2-3:30 p.m. at St. Dominic's Catholic Church (2517 N John B Dennis Hwy, Kingsport, TN 37660). The funeral mass will follow with Father Michael officiating.
Entombment will be held Monday (December 19, 2016) at 9:00 am in Mausoleum III at East Lawn Memorial Park. Serving as pallbearers will be family and friends.
The family requests, that in lieu of flowers, that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, located at 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105, (866) 278-5833, and/or St. Dominic's Catholic Church.
The family would like to give a special "Thank You" to the staff of Asbury Place, and to all the nurses and doctors at Holston Valley Medical Center.

Misciagna Family, I am so sorry for the loss of your beloved dad and grandfather. You are in my thoughts and prayers. While I worked at Italian Village in the early 80's I remember Joe often worked in the kitchen. One day I was upset bc I had spilled an entire tray of drinks and was scared I would get in trouble. Joe said "I'm the boss... "Don't worry about it." He was a kind and hardworking man. May your memories bring comfort during this challenging time.
