Went in September 2023 to my parent´s graveside at Calvary. It was most moving and serene to be in the presence of Harry and Lois Donahue´s final resting place. They are all in God´s presence and they are happy. Blessings to those who remember them.

Mr. Donahue’s memory is ever present. I have a wedding photograph of my parents, Harry and Lydia Flynn Kennedy, where Harry was the Best Man. It is proudly displayed in my living room. They were married on November 11,1944. They are all happy and enjoying the moment. Harry’s legacy is a continuous comfort. God rest his soul.

I had to think for a while why Leroy Reid's comment resonated for me. Then it was obvious; Harry was always up-beat and straight forward. Always a smile and never a need to guard your back. What a winning combination for a winning team.
I last had a chance to catch-up with Harry at Gail Levesque's funeral, We were then living winters in Trinidad and Harry seemed to glow with old war-stories of his time stationed there in the Navy. So sad to realize I'll not have another chance to catch-up with him.

I am truly sorry for the loss of Harry. My prayers and sincere condolences to Lois and the family. My parents loved Harry, as he was their best man when they married in November 1944. My sisters Pat and Maureen and brother Joe loved my parent's wedding picture, with Harry's wonderful smile. God bless the family at this time. May his soul rest in peace.

IIRC, you two came in for more than part for your VW, way back when. I always enjoyed Harry's conversation and knowledge. I was a pleasure to know him. Our best for future and gladness for past.

Harry and Lois were our next door neighbors in Anchorage and two of our favorite people. In fact we viewed Harry as the patriarch of Moose Meadow Lane. Needless to say we were saddened by the news of his passing. Folks the quality of Harry only come along once in a lifetime. He will be missed. Both Alice and I send our sincere condolences to Lois and the Donahue family.

I just read Harry's obt in the Naples news and just want to extend my sympathies to a family who most certainly must be so proud of him and his life. After being an orphan and adopted by a loving grandmother and achieving such a prolific life of goodness and excellence I wish to extend to an unknown family my sympathies. He must have been a wonderful father, grandfather, husband etc. Please know I enjoyed reading his obit and the family must be very proud of an outstanding person. Fondly, Carol Wright...Naples, Fl. [email protected] have never acknowledged an obit before but his was outstanding and just wanted to relay my sympathy to an apparent outstanding person. what a joy to read such an obit...
