I remember Mrs. Dennerlein from when I was a little girl. She was my Sunday school teacher at the United Methodist Church in Plainview, New York. She was very kind, loving and generous to the children. I was sad when she moved away to Alaska to live closer to her daughter. Although I am middle-aged now her influence has left a lasting impression on me, and I strive to be to children what she was to us, and was a Sunday school teacher myself for many years.

I met Pat while visiting Horizon House weekly with my dog Waverly. We talked every week and she shared her life in NY, talked about her cat, and always had a smile and kind word. She liked the dog but made it clear cats were her favorite! I saw her at St. John for services as well. More recently there was always a smile when we came to tell her how much we cared for her. I will hang on to treasured memories of a wonderful, kind, generous woman. So very sorry for your loss.

Always Love

What a wonderful long life your loved one had, Psalm 90:10 says that the days of our years are 70 years, And if because of special mightiness they are 80 years. Special mightiness indeed. May the memories of the wonderful times you shared together bring a smile and joy in your heart.*
