Dad so many words can't describe the way feel right now, but all I have is good memories of us laughing and joking. I wish we were different.... But we are to much alike and I am proud to know that and I am proud to have called you my father. I love you with all my heart and soul.. Until we meet again see you soon.

I have a huge hole in my heart that no one can fill. What I wouldn't give to walk in the door and see you relaxing by the pool with Lori. Sadly I know I will never see your face when I walk in the door, or hear your voice over the phone. Enjoy the view of the open sea from heaven. I'm proud to say that I'm your daughter, and you're my dad. I love you always.

Dear Carman
I may not be there with you in body, but I am with you in sorrow, sympathy and prayer. I know this is the worst thing that a parent could possibly go through. May you find comfort in knowing that he and Eddie have be re-united again as brothers just like when they were your little boys and you now have 2 Guardian Angels watching over you and who will help you get through this. Until we all meet them again, my sincere sympathy to you. I am thinking about you and my prayers have been with you ever since I heard the news. He will truly be missed
Love Always, Mary Beth

The Davilla Family,
I know the words "I am sorry" cannot convey how I am feeling at this moment. I have known Joe through McDonald's the past 6 years, and I have never met a more passionate, truly caring person. I will truly miss him so very much. Joe was always there for me, not only as a business associate, but as my friend. He has given me some very good advice on different issues at different crossroads in my life. Part of my heart is broken today, as I remember what a truly amazing person Joe was. May God grant you peace and the faith to carry on, for I know it will be truly difficult in the months ahead. I do know one thing, with Joe up in heaven guiding and watching over us, this makes me smile and feel extremely safe.
Much Love and Peace to all of you,

I will always consider myself very lucky to have had Joe as a friend. What a loving, caring, fun person he was. My family spent countless weekends for years with Trish, Joe and the kids. We were our own little family. I will always cherish the love we shared and will keep you in my heart forever.

Prayers and light are guiding you as you enter God's kingdom...your peace is now and God's kingdom is wonderful.
I had many great words with this wonderful man, about life, family, and work. You will be missed greatly ...
May the Angels comfort you, transport you softly and quickly as you enter God's kingdom, and he welcomes you with open arms....
Until I meet you again in person, thank you for your kindness and words ... Aline

Dear Family and loved ones of Joe,
I took care of Joe when in Chicago, and will miss him dearly. A kind man, a gentle spirit, and kind heart.
From our talks on life in the world, scuba diving, and police work, he will be a bright light shining always when I think of him.
Please when you see bright stars in the night, and are thinking of Joe, just know that he is among you.
Many prayers for comfort to all family, friends, and loved ones as we know that our prayers have softly and quickly had the angels take him to heaven in a blink of time.
God's blessings to you all as our friend walks in a place all waiting for us...until we meet Joe again... Aline, Oak Lawn, IL
