I was sister Marie's friend and knew all the kids as they stayed at her house for some school event. Boys were always watching their weight. I remember John hobbling around with an overshoe on a painful foot one year after the holidays. Doctored for several weeks and nothing. One day he accidently bumped it and out popped a toothpick. John was always good for an interesting conversation. My sympathy to all of you.

Dad,
You are always in my thoughts and prayers. I miss you and love you so much. You were a wonderful /caring Dad that was always there for me even though we were miles apart .I will always treasure the memories that we had together as a family. We were blessed/fortunate to have you in our lives for so many (92) years. But now God has called you home . May you rest in peace within the comfort of the Lord.

God looked around his garden
and found an empty place
He then looked down upon this earth
and saw your tired face
He put his arms around you
and lifted you to rest
God's garden must be beautiful
He always takes the best
He knew that you were suffering
He knew you were in pain
He knew that you would never
get well on earth again
He saw that the road was getting rough
and the hills are hard to climb
So he closed your weary eyelids
and whispered, “Peace be thine”
It broke our hearts to lose you
But you didn't go alone
For part of us went with you
The day God called you home

Loving You Always and Forever.
Love, Your Daughter Sophia
