KENNETH PERRY, 71, of Fort Gay, passed away on Monday, August 1, 2016, at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, August 5, 2016, at Morris Funeral Home Chapel, Wayne, with Elders Roger Maynard and Ivory Williamson officiating. Burial will follow at Community Memorial Gardens, Wayne, where military graveside rites will be conducted by American Legion Post 93 of Kenova, W.Va. He was born on February 18, 1945, at Stiltner, W.Va., the son of the late Garfield and Myrtle Billups Perry. Kenneth previously worked as a self-employed carpet installer and was a United States Army veteran. He was a member of the Salem United Baptist Church. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Mary Perry; an infant daughter, Denise Gay; brothers, Glen and Bernard Perry and Delbert Napier; and a sister, Ethel Collins. Survivors include a daughter, Krystal Adkins (Chuck) of Cornersville, Tenn.; a son, Kenneth D. Perry (Gloria) of Fort Gay, W.Va.; three sisters, Garnett Maynard of Kenova, W.Va., Bonnie Plybon (Ronnie) of Lavalette, W.Va., and Rosa Watts (Gallie) of Chesapeake, Ohio; three brothers, Billy Perry, Alphie Perry (Deloris) and Eugene Napier, all of Wayne, W.Va.; eight grandchildren, Austin, Zachary, Dustin, Dillon, Megan, Hailey, Hannah and Helaina; and two great-grandchildren, Addalinn and Ayden.
