Melvin Kosbruk Obituary

Lifelong Alaskan Melvin Enokenty Kosbruk, 38, was found in his apartment on January 13, 2013.



He was born in Perryville, Alaska on June 25, 1974, moving to Anchorage when he was a child. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing video games, barbecuing, and spending time with his mom and his best friend Gary.



He was preceded in death by his grandparents Ralph and Oleana Phillips; uncles Alec, David, Tommy, and Jack (Happy); sister Juliana; and brother Ralph.



He is survived by his parents, Andronic Kosbruk Sr. and Annie Wieskamp; brother A.J.; sister Millie; nieces Rachel, Shilah, Deanna, Martina, Arvilla, and Bianca; nephews Reed, Donovan Jr., Ralph Jr., and Thomas; as well as his girlfriend Lilly; beloved dog Emma; and many cousins and friends.



Services will be held on Wednesday, February 13th at the Witzleben Bragaw Chapel starting at noon, with Archpriest John Zabinko officiating. Burial will be held at Anchorage Memorial Park Cemetery immediately following the service.



The family wishes to thank everyone for their kind words and support in this rough time.
