I first met Bob while he was teaching at Levelock School back in the early 90's. I enjoyed sharing stories of life's adventures from our different worlds. I recall introducing smelt to him and Carol and snickering at their reactions to the distinct cucumber smell characteristic of the small river run fish. My very best to his remaining family and loved ones.

How comforting to know that God is near to those broken at heart. (Isaiah 57:15) He can strengthen your family during this time.

Bob and I were graduated together from Glennallen High School in 1966. He was a good buddy in high school and then I didn't see or hear from him or Carole until the 90s. Carole is missed and I will miss Bob in the valley. I enjoyed his FaceBook entries.

You fought a good fight, my friend. You were as strong as the black spruce that populated Kenny Lake area. No matter what adverse ground they were given, they struggled and grew strong. Rest in peace!
