The family wrote: "Rob was the taxicab to the airport at all hours when family and friends would come in. He was the chef at the family barbecues. He was the post office clerk when someone needed something shipped to Dutch Harbor or Adak, or wherever. If you needed help, and you called on him, he would say 'Whatsup?' We will miss him."
He was preceeded in death by his brother, Eddie, and his parents, Bob and Martha Herrick.
Rob Leaves his brothers, Larry, Don, Jack and Vince; his sister, Pat; daughter, Deanna; granddaughter, Alyiah; grandson, Jeremiah; and many nieces and nephews, cousins, and his true friends and constant companions, Ed, Coop and Angie.
