Ronald Shaw

Ronald Shaw, 82, passed away on Feb. 27, 2015, in Anchorage, Alaska. Mr. Shaw was born on March 9, 1932, in Wasilla, Alaska, to an Alaska pioneer family. He was a lifetime Alaska resident. He served with the USMC in Korea. He was a lifetime member of DAV, Purple Heart Association, VFW and Pioneers of Alaska. He worked for Mobile Oil Co. and Union Oil Co. of California. He went to Cordova, Alaska, in 1974, where he had a fishing operation until retirement in 1997. He is survived by his wife, Donnita Shaw. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 5, 2015, at Fort Richardson National Cemetery. Those planning to attend please line up at the main gate at 2 p.m. for procession.
