Solange was a very strong and wonderful person. I met her through a lymphedema support group; she was very open with her help and suggestions for friends. I will miss her.

I met Solange in a Modern Dance class about 10-12 years ago and we would run into each other every so often. I was thinking of her earlier this year and will miss the occasional encounters. She was an interesting woman.

Solange will be missed. Kind, compassionate and unconditional toward all she encounters. A true pioneer of the 'Little Sisters'.

A Great Woman, Alaska is better a better place because she gave so much to people. It was always a joy to see how excited she could get about little things.
I was lucky to know her, and I learned from her.
