Trevor J. Constantine

1999 - 2016

Trevor John Constantine passed away on July 7, 2016, at Alaska Native Medical Center in Anchorage, Alaska, from heart complications related to an enlarged heart. Trevor turned 17 years young on July 1, 2016. It is ironic that Trevor passed away because he had a big heart: he was always there for and listened to friends, family and anyone who reached out to him in time of need. On July 7, 2016, Trevor passed peacefully surrounded by family and friends. Trevor enjoyed his music and being with his closest friends and family. Trevor was an avid skateboarder, and he was always listening to his music. Trevor was always there for his brother; he was Conner's mentor, his teacher, because being a big brother is even better than being a superhero. Trevor excelled at anything he put his mind to. He was looking forward to graduating high school, getting his driver's license and preparing himself to be an adult, ready to embark on a life of his own. God was calling Trevor home, another angel to help pour out the rain. Tears have fallen, hearts were shattered, but it was time for him to fly home. His loved ones came to say their last goodbyes, to tell him they loved him and that he will be forever missed. As his heartbeat stopped, God took another angel home. Trevor will be with us, always, in our hearts and in our memories for eternity. Trevor leaves behind his mother and father, Christina and DaWayne Constantine; and his younger brother, Conner Constantine. A funeral service will be held at St. Innocent Russian Orthodox Cathedral, 401 Turpin Street in Anchorage, on Saturday, July 16, 2016. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. and service beginning at 2 p.m. Following the services, he will be laid to rest at Angelus Memorial Park, 440 East Klatt Road in Anchorage. A potlatch will follow at his home at 4601 Northwood Drive in Anchorage. Pallbearers for Trevor are: Walter Jackinsky, Elias Bolton, Robert Cusma, Fred Aleck, Ryan Odomin and Adam Constantine.
