Jean Elizabeth "Betty" Harvey, age 90, of Sweetwater, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on October 31, 2025, surrounded by her family. Born on October 8, 1935, in Madisonville, Tennessee, Betty lived a full and beautiful life defined by love, laughter, and grace. She was married to her beloved husband, Dan Harvey, for 67 wonderful years-a partnership built on faith, friendship, and devotion. She is survived by her husband, Dan Harvey; son Paul Harvey and his wife Kim of Sweetwater, Tennessee; grandchildren Hillary Harvey, Harrison Harvey and his wife Danielle, and Hudson Harvey; and one great-granddaughter, Karter Jean, who brought her endless joy. She was preceded in death by her son, Mark Harvey. A dedicated member of the First United Methodist Church of Sweetwater, Betty shared her beautiful voice as part of the church choir and found great joy in her church family. She loved traveling with Dan and their many friends, always ready for an adventure or a new place to explore. Fridays were her favorite-beginning with a morning at the beauty shop and followed by an afternoon playing cards with her beloved bridge club. Betty was known for her impeccable style and sparkling presence-rarely seen without her fabulous jewelry, a smart pair of shoes, and her signature pop of red lipstick. She found joy in cooking for others and never turned down a fresh cup of coffee, no matter the hour. Betty's warmth, elegance, and love for life touched everyone who knew her. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by her family, friends, and all whose lives she graced. A Celebration of Life will be held 5:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at the First Methodist Church of Sweetwater, Pastor Riley Huffstetler officiating. Arrangements by Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Madisonville.
