Amy Mirabal Obituary
On Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2008, the Lord called his child Amy G. Mirabal home. Amy was born Nov. 4, 1969, in Carrizozo to Liberato and Adelina Mirabal. She grew up in Carrizozo, Albuquerque and Tularosa, where she graduated from Tularosa High School in 1989.
Amy was preceded in death by her parents - Adelina Mirabal on April 22, 1986, and Liberato Mirabal on May 4, 1990; and her sister, Maria Elena Mirabal Anderson.
Survivors include her loving companion of many years, Lane Henley, of Alamogordo; four children, Skylar, Rosalie, Mikey and Lane; her brothers, Michael R. Mirabal Sr. and his wife Diane, of Tularosa, and Russell Mirabal and Jerry Baldonado, of El Paso, Texas; two aunts, Ruby Mirabal, of Alamogordo, and Josephine Mirabal, of Albuquerque; a great-uncle, Isidro McKinley, of Albuquerque; a niece, Monica R. Mirabal, of El Paso; two nephews, Michael R. Mirabal Jr., of Roswell, and Matthew Libe Mirabal Sr., of Tularosa; two grandnephews, Matthew Libe Mirabal Jr. and Dominick Rey Mirabal, of Tularosa; a grandniece, Mariah Jade Mirabal, of Roswell; and many paternal and maternal cousins.
A vigil service will be conducted Saturday at 7 p.m. in the Hamilton-O'Dell Chapel.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Hamilton-O'Dell Funeral Home.

To the family of Amy....My name is Pauline Cuellar-Chavez...I live in West Virginia and was reading the Newspaper and came across Amy's obit....I was truley sorry to hear of your loss.. I went to school with amy from Jr. High to High School and she and I were very good frens...I am sorry to have loss contact with her over the years. My Condolences and Blessings.
