David Sena Obituary
David was born on Dec. 19, 1968, to Sofia and Max Sena and was preceded in death by his two brothers Oscar Francisco Sena and Ivan Sena.
He is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Renee Sena, his daughter Samantha Ryan Sena and son David Andrew Sena, Jr. (DJ).
David had many dreams and achievements in his life; the one he was most proud of was his family. David graduated from Alamogordo High School in 1987. He attended New Mexico State University-Alamogordo. After college, he was a zookeeper at the Alamogordo Zoo, an animal control officer and later went on to become a Border Patrol agent in San Diego, Calif. That turned into 11 years of professional training as a canine instructor and trainer, a narcotics smuggling targeting agent, a firearms instructor, and much more.
David was awarded Peace Officer of the Year from the California Police Association in 2005.
In 2006, David and Renee moved their family back to Alamogordo to be closer to family. Here in Alamogordo, he started working as a franchise owner for the Cornwell Tools Company. At the time of his death, he was working as a carpenter for White Sands Construction. His bright smiling face and unique sense of humor helped him to be very successful in these adventures of his life.
David's hobbies were his family first and foremost; he could sit for hours talking and laughing with his kids. David loved his custom fat boy Harley. He and Renee enjoyed riding everywhere with friends. He also had a natural aptitude for computers, he loved rebuilding them and discovering all their components.
David's greatest attribute was that he never knew a stranger; once you met him you were his best friend. He will be missed by all that came to know him.
David was a devoted son, brother, husband, father, brother-in-law, son-in-law, uncle and friend.
The services for David will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, March 22 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1401 12th St.
The family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home.
