Kellan Driscoll

Alamogordo - Kellan Jace Driscoll, 6, of Alamogordo, New Mexico passed away peacefully in his home July 19, 2021. Kellan was born on July 7, 2015 in Des Moines, IA. In July 2019, his family relocated to Alamogordo, NM so Kellan and his brother could attend school at The New Mexico School for the Blind & Visually Impaired. Despite having a genetic disorder since birth, Kellan was a fighter and always lived his best life. He was always happy and had the most contagious smile and beautiful honey-brown eyes. He loved Moana, PJ Masks, floating in water, being snuggled and read to and his special spa days with Mommy.

Kellan is survived by his parents, Jaime and Aryn Driscoll, his brother, Jackson Driscoll, and a very special Godmother, Rachel Walters, of Grimes, IA. Kellan is also survived by "P-Paw and NaeNae" Ted Ealy and Penny Driscoll of Cedar Rapids, IA, Grandpa and Grandma Steve & Adella McKenna, of Lamoni, IA; and several aunties, uncles and cousins. Kellan was preceded in death by his beloved "Ga-Ga-Gamma," Shelly McKenna, who welcomed him into Heaven.

The family would like to thank Alamogordo Home Care and Hospice, Pediatrics of Alamogordo, the Holcombe family, the Carr/Scharmack family, Mariah Ostic, and the entire "village" of people who have loved and supported our family.

A memorial service will take place from 1PM-3PM on Tuesday, July, 27, 2021 at Alamogordo Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the family.
