Monte Hoover Obituary
Alamogordo - Monte Leman Hoover was born in Exeter California to Leona Eliza and Leman A. Hoover on June 12, 1941 and passed away on Friday June 25, 2021.
He is survived by his wife LaVerle Hoover and the mother of his daughters, Nancy Iverson, his sister Judy Cole (Benny), his two daughters Debby Palmer (Stan) and Cathy Holmberg (Mike) and his son Kevin Dunn (Nancy). He is also survived by 3 grandchildren, Donna Helming (Mark Rannion), Tina Bonnell (Ty) and Alex Dunn and 4 great grandchildren, Ryan Trujillo-Marshall, Clayton Helming, Breeanna Helming and Allycia Helming.
Monte had a life long love of four wheeling and was the sole owner/operator of Breaker Electric. Monte loved helping people, not only with their electrical problems but was always willing to give advice to anyone that asked on their electrical, mechanical or other problems. He always had infinite patience for those asking his advice.
There will not be a funeral service. There will be a Celebration of Life on Wednesday July 7th, 2021 from 2:00-4:00 pm at the Elks Lodge, 2290 Hamilton Road, Alamogordo, NM.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Flickinger Center for the Performing Arts located at 1110 New York Ave. Alamogordo, NM 88310 or online at Keeping the Lights On (flickingercenter.com) <https://flickingercenter.com/keeping-the-lights-on>.
The Hoover family has entrusted their loved one to the care of PCS Direct Cremation Service and Alamogordo Funeral Home.
