Ruby Haynie Obituary
A 54-year resident of Alamogordo, Ruby was a caretaker at New Mexico School for the Visually Handicapped. Ruby was also a homemaker and her passion in life was her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil "Shorty" Haynie.
Survivors include her sons Emory Haynie and his girlfriend Rachel Gasca, of El Paso, Tom Haynie and his wife, Krissy, and Wayne Haynie; and her daughter Charlotte Moses, all of Alamogordo. Ruby is also survived by her niece Joyce Milligan; grandchildren Carl Hooten, Kyle Haynie, Alisha Haynie, Terry Haynie, Calina Ramos, Chad Haynie and Michelle Haynie; 16 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be conducted 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 5, 2010, at Hamilton-O'Dell Chapel.
Pallbearers include Timothy Solorio, Skylar Rogers, Matt Grubel, Carl Hooten and Kyle Haynie.
Interment will follow at Monte Vista Cemetery in Alamogordo.
The family will greet friends from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 5, 2010, at Hamilton-O'Dell Funeral Home.

My prayers and thoughts are with the Haynies. Ruby was a very sweet and caring woman to have known. I will always cherish my memories of time spent with her.

Our deepest sympathy goes out to the Haynie family. I knew Ruby for a very long time when I worked at K-mart Pharmacy. She was a very sweet,kind & loving lady. She will be greatly missed. Cristina & Mark Markiewicz, Tularosa
