Abran Nava Obituary
Alice - Abran Nava Sr., 68 years of age passed away on June 15, 2021, in San Antonio, Texas after a long illness. Abran was born on July 22, 1952, in Alice, Texas to Jose Timoteo Nava and Maria De La Luz Amador Nava. He was a truck driver for many years. He enjoyed being with his family and spending quality time with his grandchildren. He will be missed by his children and family.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include four sons, Oscar (Mara) Hughes of San Antonio, Texas, Abran Nava Jr., Jose T. Nava, and Jesus (Janie) Nava; mother of his children Diana Nava all of Alice, Texas. Other survivors include four sisters Dalia (Gilbert) Garcia of Corpus Christi, Texas, Elda (Dennis) O'Hara, Nelda Gonzalez and Consuelo (Mark) Duplantis all of Alice, Texas; 16 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Family will be receiving friends and relatives on Monday June 21. 2021 at 5:00 P.M. at Rosas Funeral Home with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday June 22, 2021, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the Alice Cemetery.
