1949 - 2024

ADAN RAMIREZ JR. It is with heavy hearts and sorrow that we announce the passing of Adan Ramirez Jr. "Chore" who was called home at the loving age of 74, on June 30, 2024. He was born on September 3, 1949, in the small town of Falfurrias, Texas. He graduated from Falfurrias High School class of 1968 and served his country in the Army; was a hard worker in carpentry and worked many years as an Auto Parts salesman for several Fords in our area and even at Stanley Chevrolet after his retirement when he went back into the workforce and finished his career post-retirement at Bowden Ford in Alice, Texas. Adan resided most of his adult life in Agua Dulce, a small town, where his children grew up. Outside of work, Adan loved his music and sports, being an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and enjoyed listening to his Tejano music. Adan was a kind soul with a beautiful smile where his warmth, and generosity, touched the lives of all who knew him. Adan goes home to our Heavenly Father in heaven and reunited with his mother, Emma Perez Ramirez, father Adan Ramirez Sr., brother Arturo Ramirez and grandson William Lee Sanchez. Their spirits now join. He leaves behind his everlasting memories to his children, Annabel Ramirez Gonzales (Efrain "Frank") of Agua Dulce; Dana Ramirez White (Keith) of Bishop; Arturo "Art" Ramirez (Yvonne) of Corpus Christi and his sisters, Bertha Hernandez (Aristeo) and Viola Mireles and Hilda (wife of 42 years and mother of his children). Adan was also blessed and loved by his six grandchildren, Destiny D'anna Gonzales (Nicolas Garcia) Shaelyn Danae Parker, Keilaya Linda white, Alexis Samatha Ramirez, Isabella Mia Ramirez, and Emmalyn Victoria White, one great-granddaughter Araceli Grace Gracia; three step grandchildren that got to be part of his life Matthew, Marissa and Efrain Jr. numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family invites loved ones and friends to join them in honoring the life of Adan Ramirez Jr. "Chore" where visitation will begin at 5:00 pm on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at Rosas Funeral Home Chapel with a funeral service to begin at 7:00 pm. The burial will be private and held at a later date. As we gather to mourn the loss of a beloved soul, we also celebrate the life of a man who touched the hearts of many. Adan's gift of love, kindness and perseverance will forever be remembered and cherished by those who were blessed to have known him.
