Falfurrias, TX - Alicia T. Castillo, 92, entered into eternal rest on March 14, 2021 in Corpus Christi, Texas. Alicia was born May 22, 1928 to Abelardo Tijerina and Maria S. Tijerina. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Israel Castillo, brothers, Rule Tijerina and Israel Castillo, a sister, Jane Tijerina and a son Albert Castillo, and grandson, Jesse Castillo. Alicia is survived by her four daughters; Maria Isabel Galindo (Rolando) of Falfurrias, Sylvia Valadez (Robert) of Calliham, TX, Diana Galindo (Rogelio) of Falfurrias and Alicia Castillo of Alice, Texas, two sons; Israel Castillo Jr.(Twila) of Alice, Texas and Jaime B. Castillo of Alice, Texas, two brothers; Albelardo Tijerina and Leonel Tijerina both of Edinburg, Texas, Mrs. Castillo was blessed to have numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A Chapel Service will be conducted on Thursday, March 18, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at Alaniz Funeral Home of Falfurrias. Burial will follow at the Sacred Heart Cemetery of Falfurrias.
