AUGUSTINA "TINA" IBANEZ PEREZ Agustina "Tina" Ibanez Perez peacefully entered eternal rest on September 25, 2024, surrounded by her loving and devoted family. Born on November 29, 1935, in the town of San Diego, Texas, she was the cherished daughter of Santos Ibanez and Cresencia Ramirez Ibanez. Agustina had a passion for creating delicious meals in the kitchen and her dedication to maintaining a spotless home, where she spent countless hours ensuring everything was in order. Her meticulous nature extended to her yard work, a joyous activity that she found solace in despite its demanding nature. She also had a love for shopping and eating McDonald's fries while shopping at Wal-Mart. An active member of the Alice Spanish Seventh-Day Adventist Church, Agustina's unwavering faith shone through as she selflessly served as the church's treasurer, exemplifying her commitment to her beliefs and community. Her presence will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched, as her warm smile and caring demeanor left a lasting impression on everyone she encountered. Agustina leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering dedication to her family, friends, and faith, a true testament to the remarkable woman she was. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know and love her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Santos and Cresencia Ibanez; husband, Severo Perez Jr.; son, Eduardo Perez; great-granddaughter, Gabriella Perez; siblings, Adolf Ibanez, Agustin Ibanez, Alfredo Ibanez, Santos Ibanez, Felipe Ibanez, Natividad Gonzalez, and Adela Salinas. She leaves to cherish her memories her children, Dolly Toews (the late Kevin) of Alice, Albert (Leslie) Perez also of Alice and Severo (Lisa) Perez III of Corpus Christi; brother, Armando Ibanez of Las Vegas. Other survivors include four grandchildren, Eddie Perez, Albert (Anabel) Perez Jr., Kelly Toews all of Alice and Isabela Perez of Corpus Christi; 7 great-grandchildren, Marina Perez, Elena Perez, Manolo Perez, Cecilia Perez, Mikayela Perez, Albert Perez III and Mateo Perez; numerous of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 2, 2024 beginning at 5 p.m. at Rosas Funeral Home Chapel with a prayer service to be held at 7 p.m. A funeral service will be held Thursday, October 3, 2024 at 10 a.m. at Alice Spanish Seventh Day-Adventist Church; 1515 S. Cameron; Alice. Burial to follow at Roselawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Severo Perez III, Eddie Perez, Alby Perez, Kelly Toews, Manolo Perez, and Colton Lopez. Honorary Pallbearers will be Albert Perez, Larissa Abrigo, and Arnold Salazar. Funeral arrangements entrusted with ROSAS FUNERAL HOME, INC.
