Bidelia C. Bernal
Alice - Bidelia C. Bernal, age 72, passed away June 22, 2021, in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was born August 25, 1948, in Alice, Texas t Emilio and Socorro Bernal and was raised by Ruben and Cone Davis. Bidelia worked at Community Action for 20 years as a head cook and then the kitchen manager for the elderly and head start. She also loved to cook for her loved ones. Holidays were special to her because she knew it meant family and plenty of homemade food like tamales, pan de polvo, and countless other dishes. She helped raise a lot of children as a babysitter throughout her life. Everyone knew Bidelia as a happy and kindhearted person. She loved to sing and was in the choir in her early days. She was an angel on earth and now in heaven. She will be dearly missed.
She was preceded in death by numerous family members as she was the baby of the family.
She is survived by her son, Reynaldo G. Rios Jr,; sisters, Betty Bernal and Nancy Bernal; brother, Juan Bernal; nieces, Patty Pruneda, Kathy Pruneda, and Janell Jaime; nephew, Arcadio Pruneda Jr; numerous cousins.
Visitation will be held Monday, June 28, 2021, from 6 till 9 p.m. at Rosas Funeral Home with a prayer service being held at 7 p.m. that evening. Services to conclude after the prayer service.
Services will be livestreamed via Rosas Funeral Home Facebook page beginning at 7 pm. Please like the page and you will be notified once services begin.
