David Longoria Obituary
David Longoria, age 88, entered eternal rest August 8, 2025 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was born December 10, 1936 in Alice, Texas to Gonzalo and Augusta Longoria. He was also a graduate of Alice and a dedicated supporter of the Alice Coyotes. David worked and retired as a mechanic for Corpus Christi Army Dept (CCAD) after working many years there. The dedication he had for his job reflected not only in his tireless work but also in the countless memories he built with his colleagues. In his free time, David was an avid golfer. The moment he stepped onto the golf course, all his worries seemed to fade away. He spent countless hours at the golf course, mastering the game and creating lifelong friendships with fellow golf friends. David also had a passion for hunting and fishing. The thrill of the great outdoors and the challenge of staying focused made every hunt and fishing trip worthwhile. At the core of David's life was a deep love for his grandchildren. His heart swelled with pride and affection while spending time with them, watching them grow and learn, and cherishing every moment with them.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gonzalo and Agosta Longoria; wife, Elvira S. Longoria; two brothers, Anselmo Longoria and Hector Longoria (Janie).
