EVA FLORES Obituary
EVA G. FLORES
Alice, Texas - Eva G. Flores, 86, peacefully entered eternal rest on November 24, 2024, in Alice, Texas. Her remarkable journey began on January 4, 1938, in the town of Alice, Texas, where she was joyfully welcomed into the world by her loving parents Anastacio and Eva Gonzalez. Eva found joy in the simple pleasures that surrounded her. One of her greatest passions was found in baking, where she would make treats that warmed the hearts of those fortunate enough to taste her creations. In moments of relaxation, she could often be found watching her novelas. Eva's true sanctuary existed within her garden. The act of nurturing life and watching her plants and flowers bloom under the care of her hands, brought a sense of fulfillment. Eva's greatest joy came from the love she held for her grandchildren and family. They were the light that illuminated her days, filling her heart with warmth and happiness. Eva found purpose and meaning in these precious moments of togetherness.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Anastacio and Eva Gonzalez; husband, James L. Flores; brothers, Enrique Gonzalez and Adan Gonzalez; and sisters, Zoila Johnson and Aurora Oliveira.
Eva is survived by four children, Daniel Flores (Patricia) of Sunset Valley, Monica Sandoval (Javier) of Manor, Anna Trevino (Tiburcio) of Alice, and Brenda Flores of Corpus Christi; siblings, Frank Gonzalez (the late Francis) of Tucson, Arizona, Robert Gonzalez (Martha) of Alice, and Margie Chapman (Jake Walker) of Phoenix Arizona; grandchildren, Matthew Flores, Christopher Gutierrez (Karen), Victoria Case (Spencer), Tiburcio Trevino III, and Marco Trevino (Larissa); great-grandchildren, Ava Case, Michael Case, Audrey Gutierrez, Nayelli Trevino, Neriah Trevino, Natalie Trevino, Ezekiel Trevino, Sienna Trevino and Maverick Trevino; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
