1981 - 2025

Joe Arebalo Jr., affectionately known as Joey or Bubba, entered eternal rest August 27, 2025, in Alice, Texas. He was born on January 17, 1981, in Alice, Texas to Joe Arebalo Sr. and Maria Antonia Salinas Arebalo. Joe led a life that was rich in moments of connection and joy. He had developed a profound sense of listening skills and a master at recognizing different voices, always listening carefully to those around him. He enjoyed listening to music often showing his interest in a song by tapping to the beat. He enjoyed family as they often surrounded him, sharing countless memories and creating new ones together. His family played a big role in his life, and it was not uncommon to see them gathered around him, showering him with love and affection. He will be dearly missed, and his legacy will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. He will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Joey was always surrounded by lots of love and brought the family closer together, which was an amazing thing to see.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Arebalo Sr.; paternal grandparents, Hubense and Santos Arebalo; and maternal grandparents, Jose and America Salinas.

He is survived by his mother, Maria Antonia Arebalo of Alice; siblings, Joe Richard Arebalo of Austin, Dee Ann Vasquez (John) of Alice, Paul Daniel Arebalo (Elisa W.) of Alice, Sammy Joe Arebalo (Michelle) of Alice, and Jay Arebalo (Liz) of Alice; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held Sunday, August 31, 2025, beginning at 5 p.m. at Rosas Funeral Home Chapel with a holy rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. that evening. A funeral service will be held Monday, September 1, 2025, at 10 a.m. at Rosas Funeral Home Chapel with a burial to follow at Roberson Collins Cemetery.

Bubba will forever be in our hearts.
