Lee F. Morgan Jr.

1948 - 2018

Lee F. Morgan Jr. – 70 years of age passed away Sunday June 24, 2018 at his home with his beloved family by his bed side. He was born January 21, 1948 in San Diego, Texas to Lee Sr. and Leonor Flores Morgan. Lee was a proud veteran; he was in the infantry American Division in Vietnam and had numerous awards. He was a truck driver for many years and then a Rural Mail Carrier for 24 years. Lee enjoyed hunting, fishing, going to the ranch, barbecuing and family get togethers. He loved traveling with his trucks and his RV. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, brother in law, and uncle to his family. He had many friends and always with a smile on his face and a positive out look in life. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him; to know him was to love him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee Sr. and Leonor Morgan and one sister, Edna M. Kennemer.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 47 years of marriage, Yolanda V. Morgan of Alice, Texas; one son, Ricardo (Lisa Carbajal) Morgan of Alice, Texas and one daughter, Melissa (Guadalupe Sanchez) Morgan of Alice, Texas; one brother, Edward F. Morgan of Alice, Texas and three sisters, Hattie M. Villegas of San Antonio, Texas, Nora M. (Martin Narvaiz) Varela of Alice Texas and Lillian (Tomas) Alaniz of San Diego, Texas; two grandchildren, Guadalupe ""Pito"" Sanchez Jr. and Megan LeeAnn Morgan.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at 5:00 P.M. with a Rosary recited at 7:00 P.M. at Rosas Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the San Diego Cemetery with Military Honors.
Serving as pallbearers will be Mark V. Garcia, Ramiro Salazar Jr., Anthony Varela, Lee Roy Morgan, Michael Garza, Agustin Bonilla, Robert Salazar, and Kyle Reynolds.
