Maria Gloria Moreno
San Diego - Maria Gloria Moreno, age 72, passed away February 12, 2021 in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was born June 14, 1948 in San Diego, Texas to Tomas and Manuela Morin. Gloria was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. She enjoyed gardening, scratch off lottery tickets, and solving crossword puzzles. She will forever be remembered for her loving, caring character who enjoyed having long talks with everyone and her unconditional love for her children, grandchildren, and her entire family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Tomas and Manuela Morin; father of all her five children, Ubence Moreno; sisters, Hortencia "Tencha" Mitchell, Dora Luna, and Marta Gonzalez; brothers, Tomas Morin, Jose Eulalio Morin, and Juan Morin.
Gloria is survived by her children, Martin Ubence Moreno (Linda), Mario Moreno, Daniel Moreno, Janie Hinojosa, and Alicia Rivadeneyra (Jesus) all of Ben Bolt; sisters, Sara M. Garza of Hebbronville, Sabas Santana of Grove City, Ohio, Guadalupe Gonzalez of San Antonio, Sylvia Gonzalez of San Diego, Zulema Vela of Freer, and Aurora Vidal of San Diego; brothers, Gilberto Morin of San Diego, Jesus Morin of San Diego, Ernesto Morin of San Diego, and Juan Morin of Georgia; 12 grandchildren, Martin Moreno Jr., Monica Moreno, Marcus Moreno, Matthew Moreno, Felix Hinojosa, Gabriella Balboa, Ben Herrera, Mila Moreno, Daniel Moreno Jr., Levi Moreno, Eva Rivadeneyra, and Joaquin Rivadeneyra; 2 great-grandchildren, Cataleya Moreno and Martin "Ubie" Moreno III; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held Thursday, February 18, 2021 from 12 p.m. till 2 p.m. at Rosas Funeral Home Chapel. A rosary will be recited Thursday, February 18, 2021 at 2 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 2:30 p.m. at Rosas Funeral Home Chapel. Burial to follow at Roberson Collins Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Daniel Moreno, Jesus Rivadeneyra, Tomas Morin, Leroy Arellano, Martin Moreno Jr., and Ben Herrera.
Services will be livestreamed via our Rosas Funeral Home Facebook page beginning at 2 pm. Please like the page and you will be notified when services begin. Facemasks are required upon entering all facilities and during all services.

Aunt Gloria was a very special lady to me she gave me my most wonderful childhood memories. I felt the love from her every time we went to visit her. I thank you so much for all the special times I will always carry you in my heart .
