Sarah Marie Tucker, 16, of Amarillo, died Sunday, March 11, 2018. Memorial services will be 2:00 pm, Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at Hillside Christian Church-Amarillo South Campus, 6901 Bell St. with Pastor Curtis House of Harvest Christian Fellowship officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery in Tulia. Sarah was born August 24, 2001 in Amarillo to Greg and Kristi Tucker. She was a junior at Randall High School. She played basketball for Randall and Top of Texas last year. Sarah had a beautiful singing voice. She sang in choir at Randall, and also led worship on the praise team at Catalyst, the youth group at her church, Harvest Christian Fellowship. Sarah loved to serve and sing praises to the Lord. She was also very involved in Kid City at her church. She worked at Verdure. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mary and Dan Tucker; and her Papa, David Tucker. Survivors include her parents, Greg and Kristi Tucker of Amarillo; two brothers, JD Tucker and Daniel Tucker both of Amarillo; two sisters, Elizabeth Tucker and Madelyn Tucker both of Amarillo; her grandparents, Jean Grossman of Canyon, and Jack and Diana Magee of Denison; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. The family requests memorial donations be made to Kid City c/o Harvest Christian Fellowship, 4808 S. Bonham St., Amarillo, TX 79110. I am speechless as I search my heart for words of comfort. Sarah was and will always be an angel. She loved life and lived it to its fullest. She loved and she became love through her Lord, Jesus Christ. Her infectious smile, her beautiful heart, and her ability to love others was a shining light that would light up a room with her mere presence. God and His love illuminated through her spirit and she was a model not only for young people but for all of us. I will miss my sweet little Sarah but will long for the day I can wrap her in my arms, speak directly to her, and tell her how much I Iove her.

Greg, Kristi, JD, Daniel, Elizabeth, and my precious Mae-Mae, I love you all from the very core of my being. There is no possible way for me to truly understand the depth of your sorrow, I can only imagine. But know this, I will walk by your side until the day we can walk no more, I will be there to help catch you when you fall, and together, through the fullness of God's love, strength, and power we will walk through this valley together, arm in arm until God can make you whole again. I love you all so very much.
