Barbara Primeaux Obituary
She was born on December 24, 1947 in Lake Charles, LA to Ezora and Aylma Nunez. Bobbie was beautiful inside and out. She loved her family dearly and her son B.J. was the love of her life. She was dedicated to her Catholic faith serving as a Eucharistic Minister and in the Altar Society and Catholic Daughters for many years.
She enjoyed hosting guests in her home and was active in the Cameron Parish Fur Festival, 4-H program, and Rodeo Association. Bobbie also served as the secretary at South Cameron High School for nine years.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 54 years, J.T. Primeaux, children, Scottie Primeaux (Tracy), Charmaine Dibartolo (Chris), and Bernard Primeaux (B.J.); grandchildren, Lexi Primeaux, Lindsey Primeaux, Peyton Primeaux, Kody Dibartolo, and Jenna Dibartolo; and sister, Suella McCardle.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, James (Ackie) Nunez.
A Mass Of Christian Burial will be held at St. Martin De Porres Catholic Church on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at 12:30 p.m. Father Wayne LeBleu will officiate. Burial will follow the service in Sweetlake Grandlake Community Cemetery. Visitation will be held at University Baptist Church in Lake Charles Friday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. with a rosary at 6 p.m. Visitation will continue at University Baptist Church Saturday from 11 a.m. until noon.
