I am going to miss you so much Uncle John. It will be so hard to not text you when I find someone we might be related to. May you be at peace with your new set of lungs.

It was wonderful knowing Uncle John. You were quite patient with us as children and young teens who wanted to do everything we could with you. I remember how you stayed with us when you were in Air Traffic Controller School. I got to spend some time with you when you were working in Austin. You knew so much about so many things. You taught us so much about people, how the world worked, genealogy, etc. You told us about older members of our family. Most of all, you gave us the example of a deep, mature and manly faith. And we had so much fun. You remain in my prayers, but no longer about earthly pain.
