Mary Elizabeth "Nana" Leger

1973 - 2021

Mary Elizabeth "Nana" Leger was born April 4, 1973 in Lake Charles, Louisiana to the late Paul Wilbert and Gloria Jean Anderson Leger. A lifelong resident of Lake Charles, she was a member of The Sound Church where she served as an usher. Mary attended Lake Charles Boston High School. Mary had a beautiful spirit and was full of life. She will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her. She departed this life Thursday, July 1, 2021 in her residence surrounded by family and friends. She leaves to cherish her memories, one daughter, Breane Leger; two sons, Roberto Colon and J'Vante Leger; one sister, Jennifer Anderson; three brothers, Paul (Violet) Leger Jr., David (Shana) Leger, and Michael Leger; six grandchildren, Rayan Colon, Kyla Goodwin, Gabriella Tyler, Zenyah Compton, Jeremy Leger, and Delashiah Rosamore; six godchildren, Constance Morrison, Joel Mouton, Jerome Delafosse, David Smith, Cheyana Booker, and Devin Mouton; godsister, Wilda Thibodeaux; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Gloria Leger; and son, Jeremy Leger. Her visitation will be Thursday, July 8, 2021 from 9AM with her funeral following at 11AM at True Light Baptist Church, Pastor Alvin Noel. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
