I can't tell you how sorry I am. I was a freshman in high school when Mike was a senior and we all looked up to him so much. To so many of us- he was THE King of Boone High. He will be greatly missed. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

I would like to extend my deepest sympathies to everyone that has been touched by the loss of Mike. Personally, I was taught a lot about the outdoors and looked up to him like a big brother. It was always fun to be around him, and that was something that I always looked forward to, when I was in town. The loss will be felt for quite some time, but hopefully the memories will help with the grief.
