Mr. Davenport was my driver's ed teacher and also was the study hall teacher a few times when I was at Ballard High School. What a nice guy with a GREAT sense of humor! He will be sorely missed. Robin (Aldrich) Blue---Marshalltown,Ia.

I am so sorry for your loss. I have great memories of Russ and know he will be dearly missed. What a great picture you have published. That is exactly how I remember him. That giant smile. May he now be at peace and forever in your hearts.

I was one of the hundreds of kids who knew Mr. Davenport at Ballard High. He clearly liked teaching and he liked kids. May God rest his Soul.
