Nevada - I tried my best and fought the fight, but I lost the battle in the end.
Steve Hohn, 73 of Nevada, died Thursday, June 24, 2021, at Story Medical Center in Nevada.
Steve was born November 30, 1947, in Ames, the son of Hans and Leota (Ingerson) Hohn. He graduated from Nevada High School in 1966 and was united in marriage to Paula McKim on May 4, 1968, at the Nevada First United Methodist Church.
Steve was a proud union member of Plasterer's and Cement Mason's Local #21 for over 50 years. He especially loved to be outside and would often be found taking care of his pond or yard. Steve was a guy you could always call, and he would be happy to help anyone.
