Albert Navarre III

Albert Navarre, III was born on September 12, 1960, to Albert, Jr. and Iris Navarre in New Orleans, LA. He was called home on June 3, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. He graduated from Joseph S. Clark High School in 1978. Raised in a loving, faith-filled family, he embraced Christian values and was a born-again believer. At an early age, he dedicated his life to Christ at Beecher Memorial United Church of Christ under the leadership of Pastor Barry E. Brandon. He later attended Solid Rock International Ministries for nine years, where he faithfully served as a deacon under Pastor Dario A. Carey. Albert was a dedicated employee at the House of Blues, where he was admired for his commitment and kind spirit. Albert's life and legacy are defined by love and faith. He is survived by his devoted wife Carlotta Navarre, children: Albany, Mahogany, Albert (Kaylin), Jimmour (Latrice), Prayshas, and Tameko (Kevin), and 11 cherished grandchildren, Iris, Mielle, Ethin, AJ. Kallie, Oshun, Jimmour, Jr., Jade, Jamaar, Tajai, and Lariel. Preceded in death by his parents, grandparents Harold Taylor and Rosalee Ancar, Aunt Prunella Martin, his mother-in-law Dorothy Bourgeois, and sister-in-law Audree Bourgeois Lee. Albert leaves behind a wealth of loved ones and cherished memories. Members of Beechler Memorial, alumni of Joseph S. Clark, and employees of House of Blues are invited to attend the Homegoing Celebration at Solid Rock International Ministries, 2120 N. Roman Street, New Orleans, LA on Friday, June 20, 2025, for 10:00 a.m. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. Pastor Dario A. Carey, officiating.
