Andrew Robert Pizzalato Sr., of Slidell, Louisiana, passed away on September 29, 2025, at the age of 55. Born on July 3, 1970, in the vibrant city of New Orleans, Louisiana, Andrew's life was a testament to the dedication and love he brought to those around him. Andrew is the beloved son of R.J. Pizzalato (Dawn Pizzalato) and Linda Messina. His sisters, Cherie (Michael), Nicole, and Melissa, shared in the adventures of their St. Bernard Parish upbringing, creating memories that would last a lifetime. He is the adored father of Andrew Pizzalato Jr. and Linda P. Fannin (Jacob); stepfather of Haley and Matthew; proud Poppa of Scarlett, Raelynn, Ryder, Sterling, and Violet; and beloved husband of Angela Pizzalato. In his youth, Andrew discovered a passion for mechanics and a commitment to service, which led him to a career in the United States Army. Specializing in wheel vehicle repair, he honed his skills and discipline, attributes that would serve him well throughout his life. After his military service, Andrew continued to excel in his field, becoming a Ford Master Mechanic, a title that spoke to his expertise and dedication to his craft. An avid fisherman, Andrew found solace in the waters around Louisiana. His fishing trips were not just about the catch but about the peace of being surrounded by nature and the camaraderie with fellow anglers.
