Joseph Dupuy

Joseph "Pic" Dupuy, entered into eternal rest peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loving, and supportive family on Sunday, June 8th. He is survived by his devoted wife, Frankie Mae Dupuy, for over 60 years. He is also survived by his children, Gail Crosby (Ronnie), Debra Washington (Everett), Stanley Smith (Mary), Tyrone Smith (JoAnn), Christopher Dupuy (Cassandra), Evangeline Battie (Ronnie), Lynette Dukes (Guy), and Darnell Dupuy (Chrishelle). Grandfather to Terryll, Ronnie, Dana, Clinton, Tiffany, Tira, Tyrone, Quoenika, Chris, Christal, Chrishawn, Jalil, Taj, Thelonious, Darnell, Deuce, Lionel, Thaddeus, Theron. He was a devoted son, husband, father, grandfather, and uncle to a host of other family members. Joseph was a lifelong resident of New Orleans and a member of St. David Church until Hurricane Katrina, then the family relocated to Slidell. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 2022 St. Bernard Ave. Visitation will begin at 8:00 a.m. Service will begin immediately after the Rosary at 9:00 a.m. Private Interment will be held at Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery at a later date.
